Since September 2022 with EBNER Industrieofenbau.
I am currently in my 3rd and final year of my apprenticeship. In my 1st year, I worked in the Purchasing department, and since my 2nd year, I have been in the Program and Project Management Office department.
Describe your job in a single sentence:
In project controlling, we process and analyze customer projects from a cost and schedule perspective and design the reporting system.
When you are on your way to work in the morning, what are you looking forward to?
I look forward to working closely with my great team every day and the opportunity to actively shape the success of a project.
What was the most interesting experience you have had at EBNER?
The change of department at the end of the apprenticeship year. I was able to get to know different areas and see how the different teams work together. This also gave me a good opportunity to discover new areas of work that I also enjoy.
Everyone needs inspiration and motivation to get through the daily grind. What keeps you going?
Seeing how my skills are improving and that I can/am allowed to take on more and more responsibility.
What does your typical working day at EBNER look like?
We start in the morning with a team meeting and discuss current issues at company and department level. My job is then to determine the forecast for customer orders by analyzing and reprocessing the data from our ERP system.
What benefits do you value most at EBNER?
I particularly appreciate the support we receive for vocational school and the many courses we attend during our apprenticeship. For example, the English course: It really helps me to improve my language skills and communicate better in an international environment.
What advice would you give someone who wanted to apply for a job at EBNER?
Be open to new things and take the opportunity to learn a lot. At EBNER you will be supported and if you are motivated, you can develop very well.
