Brasmetal Waelzholz in Brazil continues to rely on EBNER technologies

Brasmetal Waelzholz, a 100% subsidiary of the Waelzholz Group in Hagen/Germany, placed an order with us for the delivery, installation supervision and commissioning of an electrically heated HICON/H₂^® bell-annealer facility, comprising 2 HICON/H₂^® workbases and with the possibility of installing further bases in the future.

This is already the 7th bell annealer facility for Brasmetal Waelzholz that has been ordered from EBNER in 20 years of cooperation.

The new facility will be integrated into the existing VISUAL FURNACES^® process control system to ensure central operation and monitoring of the entire bell annealer facilities. 

The scope of delivery also includes a thermal oxidation system to ensure the cleanest possible combustion of the exhaust atmosphere gases, which are contaminated with rolling oil vapors from the coil charge.

Another interesting detail of this project is that our customer has already ordered the preparations for converting the plant to a new GREENBAFx^® heating concept. The new facility will go into production in the first half of 2026.
