Aluminum Dynamics, LLC the newly formed aluminum division of Steel Dynamics, Inc has contracted EBNER for the supply of the furnace equipment for the recently announced, state-of-the art $1.9 billion recycled aluminum flat rolled mill in Columbus, Mississippi.
This package includes pusher-type furnaces to support hot rolling operations for preheating and homogenizing of approx. 900,000 tonnes of rolling slabs annually, requisite batch-type coil annealing furnaces as well as floatation-type, continuous annealing and solution heat treat lines for the finishing operations. The equipment is designed to produce automotive, can and common alloy aluminum sheet of the highest quality.
