Our preferred candidate for PLC Automation Engineer is successful in implementing automation system projects by understanding customer requirements, product line needs, and control system architecture. Primary responsibilities include developing comprehensive and robust PLC logic, intuitive HMI screens, clear and concise electrical schematics, and other project-related documentation. Additional expectations include coordinating thorough system testing and debugging in-house at our cutting-edge manufacturing facility.
PLC Automation Engineer (f/m/d)
Job Duties:
- Develop PLC ladder logic to automate industrial equipment and create an intuitive operator interface. Typical programming languages include LAD, FBD, STL and SCL. LAD/FBD experience is required.
- Assist and collaborate in the creation and maintenance of detailed electrical schematics for industrial control enclosures and systems.
- Troubleshoot automation control problems and improve system performance at customer sites.
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical design engineers to develop robust automation and control packages for industrial machinery and machine control.
- Assist and collaborate in the creation of project documentation, such as risk assessments and user’s manuals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, etc., or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience with electrical control system programming and maintenance, specifically with PLC and HMI brand platforms; Siemens and Allen-Bradley/Rockwell. Some legacy platforms include Delta, Mitsubishi, and Citect.
- Experience with AC and DC motors, including drives.
Electrical and control system integration, commissioning, and maintenance experience.
Proficiency in CAD and ECAD is preferred, but not required. - Field experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred, not required.
- Ability to travel internationally preferred, not required.
- Ability to multitask, while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team oriented and collaborative.
- Self-motivated, while also accepting guidance and direction.
- 5 years of experience.

Senior Electrical Engineer – Industrial Design (f/m/d)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, maintain and improve electrical instruments, equipment, components and systems for industrial machinery.
- Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
- Operate computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
- Develop budgets and/or quotes estimating labor, material, and construction costs for customers.
- Investigate customer complaints, determine nature and extent of problem, and recommend remedial measures.
- Confer with engineers, customers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Electrical Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.

The Country Sales Manager ensures the current and future competitiveness in the responsible country or sub-region (= several countries) as well as the profitability of the country-specific sales activities of Capital Equipment & Customer Services by performing the following tasks for all EBNER Group company’s portfolio.
Country Group Sales Manager – INDIA (f/m/d)
Key Responsibilities:
- Observation and analysis of the respective market(s) in close cooperation with the regional subsidiaries and country representatives
- First point of contact for existing and potential customers, representatives, subsidiaries etc. in his area of responsibility (active selling)
- Carrying out customer visits, initial contacts, company presentations, product presentations and product launches
- Timely preparation of detailed internal inquiries; clarification of specific customer requirements by Region Sales Manager
- Analysis of all data together with the assigned Product Sales Manager and Product Development Engineer
- Preparation of a detailed offer or budget offer (short offer) in a team with Product Sales Manager
- Assistance with layout creation
- Detailed proposal discussions and initialling at the customer’s premises
- Technical and commercial contract negotiations with the customer
- Attendance at trade fairs, representative days, symposia, participation in events and conferences
- Preparing and giving presentations
- Checking the preparation of job costing and calculations
- Purchasing support – technical assistance with new materials or components or support for Customer Services
- Managing the representative (active market development, contract negotiations, representative commission, suggestions/wishes etc.)
- Customer and guest care
- Timely and detailed preparation and processing of internal documentation together with the assistant (order report, lost report, ESM call list, bid/no-bid, project classification, file note, dispatch order, press releases, etc.)
- Development and execution of regional sales strategies in alignment with overall company objectives
- Monitoring competitor activities and gathering competitive intelligence to support internal strategic planning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completed technical or technical/business education at least Bachelor of Mechcanical Engineering
- Several years of professional experience in sales of industrial plants
- Experienced use of analysis and planning tools (market/customer/competitor/trend analyses, strengths/weaknesses/opportunities/risks analyses, key figure systems, etc.)
- Business fluent in English
- Very good IT skills
- Other foreign language an advantage
- High customer and problem-solving orientation
- Analytically structured working style
- Confident and convincing appearance
- Social communication skills
- Team-oriented
- Intercultural competence
