Through intensive collaboration with partners in the industry, EBNER is able to tailor each HICON/H2® bell annealer to specific customer needs. New solutions, new products and the optimization of existing production processes are all supported.

Thanks to continual technological advances by EBNER's Research and Development Department, HICON/H2® bell annealers achieve the shortest possible annealing and cooling times while simultaneously keeping operating costs low. These facilities can be implemented to comply with the standards required by the automotive industry in accordance with CQI-9 (AIAG).

Applications:

The types of steel that can be annealed in bell annealers range from low-carbon deep-drawing grades (including IF) to high-strength microalloy steels (including BH) and high-alloy steels. Indeed, the bright annealing of cold-rolled high-alloy ferritic or martensitic Cr steels is only possible with HICON/H2® bell annealer furnace technology.

  • cold-rolled unalloyed grades such as DC01 (St12, CQ) to DC05 (St15, EDDQ), IF steels, etc.
  • cold-rolled low-alloyed carbon steels like C60 to C100
  • high-alloyed cold-rolled and hot-rolled ferritic and martensitic grades such as AISI 430, 410, 420, etc.)
  • silicon steel strip (max. 3.4 % Si)
  • tin plate T1-T4 (TS 230 - TS 415)

Charge dimensions:

Coil diameters from 1400 to 2700 mm
Stacking heights up to 7000 mm (including convector plates)
